Lantern Productions are holding open auditions for their upcoming production Erin Connolly and the Children of Lir.

The Children of Lir are trapped as swans. The evil League of Minerva want to keep it that way. A young woman searches for the prophesised reincarnation of Fionn MacChumhaill to save the day, in this new re-imagining of the classic Celtic Myth.

Rehearsals begin on Monday the 11th of June with performances in the Everyman Theatre in Cork City from the 3rd to the 8th of July 2018.

We are casting for an ensemble of 6 performers with acting and/or dance experience;

1 female performer with a playing age of 17-25

1 female performer with a playing age of 20-30

1 male performer with a playing age of 20-30

1 male performer with a playing age of 17-25

Auditions will be held in Cork on Monday the 4th of December 2017, by appointment only. There will be a workshop call-back on Wednesday the 6th of December. Email casting@lanternproductions.ie with a CV and Headshot to book a slot. If you have a video example of your movement skills please also include this but it is not essential.

Please note that while this is a paid engagement there is not a budget for accommodation or per diems during rehearsals so we are looking for performers with a base in Cork.
